Welcome 2009

I'm still not sure how I feel about another year wizzing by us....where is the time going? I am sure that this year will be another of month after month just going by..but my hope and prayer is that this year things will be different. This year will bring many changes...one of which I am going to be 35. I am still not sure how I feel about this milestone birthday..but I am going fully embrace it and enjoy every minute of it! I pray that we will have made a difference in the lives the others, that we would give more and be dependent on God ( it is so easy for us to be dependent on ourselves when things are going along good) There are several things that I would like to do this year...so I have yet again compiled a list..this time I kept it to 20..but I can add more if I feel the need!
1. LOVE my HUSBAND ..honor him, cherish him, pray for him...
2. Pray Daily and more consistently
3. Read the entire New Testament..and comprehend it!
4. Go back to school to begin earning 2 AA degrees ( as if 1 werent enough)
5. Volunteer monthly
6. Build the business
7. Visit Amy and Andy in Denver
8. Complain less
9. Listen more and talk less
10. Eat at a new restaurant once a month (different types of cuisine)
11. Write in a journal at least once a week

For one thing, Angie, 35 is not old. Don't get all hung up on that. Wait until you are sneaking up 40 like me. That is a milestone.

Advice for #13, just get out there and do it. Assuming your knees hold up, your body will think it is back at Alpine like you never left.

For #15, take a weekend in Santa Barbara. There is a little place off the beach that rents them.

For #16, well . . . I am up for lunch (schedules permitting).

For #20, make sure that you remember that you are a "people." You need to appreciate yourself as much (if not more) than you appreciate others.

P.S. My mother just gave me your holiday card (a month late).
