This past weekend we were honored to host a shower with Anna and EG for Todd and April and little baby Avalee that is still on her way! What a privilege it was to honor them as parents to be...the one thing we forgot to do was have everyone pray for you! We are so excited for you and cant wait to meet this beautiful little girl!!!

This past MOnday I got to go to Disneyland with my roommate from college. She and her family are still living in Sacramento and make it to Southern California about once a year to come and play! I always look forward to these visits! This year, Lisa's husband didnt make the journey with her..she came with her mom and nephew and of course her own son Riley! It was a great day...we missd you Rick!

bird poop and hammocks

I new it! They take lessons!

So this afternoon I thought that I would take a little break in my hammock. Seemed like a nice idea...that is until I got pooped on! Yes, that is right ...pooped on! I was just settling in and getting comfy when I felt something slimy and cold on my right forearm....I looked down and saw the poop and almost flipped out of the hammock trying to get it off! Some bird mistook me for their toilet! How rude! I am now terrified to go in my hammock! I will need to bring an umbrella with me!
